I’m so glad you’re here! Journal writing has made a huge impact on my life, and I’m excited to share with you what a powerful tool it can be for healing, self-discovery, personal growth, and creative expression.

Why keep a journal?

At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want. -Lao Tzu

A journal can help you access your inner wisdom, that place inside you where you know who you are and what you want. There are so many voices out there telling us what to do, what to say, what to wear, and even what to think. A journal can help you listen to your own voice. It can remind you of who you really are and how to live an authentic life.

✻ Avid journal writers (Journaling has endless potential, so even if you’ve been journaling for years,      you’re bound to be inspired by the wide range of techniques explored!)

✻ Newcomers to journaling (No experience with journaling necessary!)

Who am I?

My name is Marianne Ingheim Rossi and I am a certified Journal to the Self® instructor. I live with my husband in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area where I teach journaling workshops, including Journal to the Self®, created by Kathleen Adams of The Center for Journal Therapy. I’m also interested in creativity and self-compassion and how journaling can be used in these areas. Check out my free download on self-compassion with 10 empowering journaling exercises!

The aim of my classes is to provide a relaxed and safe environment for you to write about whatever you want or need to write about. The great thing about journaling is that there are no rules! It doesn’t matter how or what you write, just that you write. As your instructor, I will guide you through the writing process in a nurturing – not critical – environment. It is my purpose to encourage and empower you by providing you with a space in which you can express your deepest self.
